In walking distance to shopping malls in Makati.

In walking distance to shopping malls in Makati. Close to airport if new higway (extra paid - 45 p one way) is used by taxi drivers. Always asked them to use it otherwise you will stack in the traffic. Quiet, safe area.

Clean rooms, nice location, disappointing customer focus

Absolutely clean room with all the facilities you need, helpful staff and great location. The place was in general quite and the same time well located.

We arrived 20 minutes earlier and they would not let us in the room, also the check-out was 12 and they called us / told us an hour earlier to remind when is check-out?!! Just like they wanna kick us out asap, it was really, really frustrating, you felt not welcome at all!! The worst thing was that we knew that it is not the staff, they tried their best to be kind, it is the owners and their strict, absolutely not customer friendly rules, clearly they have absolutely no idea how to run a hotel and make guests feel home, such a disappointment.. and you could see that staff was afraid to lose their job so followed all the strict orders... Felt the same with breakfast, they had to save eggs, so actually I got scrambled eggs from 1 egg. Have you ever seen scrambled eggs from 1 egg??! Honestly, I have never till this hotel... so yeah, my advise, find another hotel, save the stress, there are many good ones out there.

A nice place to crash in between meetings/conferences nearMakati Avenue

The room is spacious and clean. Staff were accommodating and attended to my needs very well. The location feels very safe, unlike the other hotels in the Makati Avenue-Kalayaan area which felt like a high class red light district. In contrast, this BRBlock Hotel is simple and very decent.

The phone in the room was not working and there was no bidet in all toilets.

a clean roomy place with strong air conditioning

The location was okay not really much around, a bit noisey with construction/roosters, and my shower handle wouldn't stay up, i had some string and tied it for the duration of my shower.

BrBlocks : Many Thanks Indeed

It was a perfect staycation. I was so happy with everything which includes the workforce of this boutique residences. Thank you ever so much indeed to the receptionists stationed during the daytime and graveyard shifts for their genuine warm hospitality. Thank you also to Eric for ensuring that our stay will be comfortable, to Daniel for taking his time out on a wee hour just to provide toiletries that I asked him too and to the people in the cafe especially to Shane and Rex who took our orders and my whims patiently. And to Joseth for taking my phone call as I had forgotten my usb. To the security guards on duty for making sure that my CRV will be safely parked inside the garage Thank you!!!! I had a wonderful stay and this wont be the last time for sure! CHEERS TO ALL OF YOU!

Nothing at all! Although it would be nice if they did have a pool haha!

Great location.

It's located inside a gated community. Away from the shops and attraction, but also close enough to walk there.

At night the gates are closed making it hard for the delivery driver to their way in through the only open gate.

Excellent room to stay

1. Value-for-money, the room exceeds my expectations. 2. The room has minibar, e.kettle, cups, luggage rack, wardrobe with hangers, bedhead lamps and masterswitches, study table with table lamp and mirror, and most importantly window with cute balcony. 3. Clean bathroom with hot and cold shower. 4. Lift has a reasonable size. 5. Corridor, its ventilation, and arrangement of units were fantastic in my option. I loved the patterns on its facade and an open-air hallway concept. 6. Airconditioning was functioning well. 7. Coziness of the entire property and my room. 8. Quietness of the entire property and my room. 9. Courteous staff.

1. Bidet didn't have spray hose. 2. Main door of the room couldn't be opened entirely 'coz it doesn't have enough clearance on the floor. 3. Its location isn't 100% perfect but accessible to/from makati cbd.

Staycation in the Metro

The area is residential so it's quiet and the streets are not busy. Rooms are clean stocked with toiletries but could be better if they have hair dryer. I liked that they have elevator and parking. Staff are friendly and courteous.

Since it is residential area, eateries are quite a walk. The nearest grocery would be in Century Mall which is 10-15min walk. They are in a gated village so at night some of the gates would be closed and could be a hassle for taxi/grab.

No wifi in the room, it’s hard to reach from the airport by taxi because of the traffic .

Nice place

The facilities were very nice and clean. We had breakfast in the cafe and it was quite good and the price was ok. They have an elevator so you don't have to carry your luggage all the way up if you get a room on an upper floor. For the price we paid, this is what I would expect a place like this to be like.

They made a mistake in the breakfast bill and wanted to charge us more for food we didn't have. When we told them, they doublechecked everything and finally noticed their mistake. The location is in a quiet area but if you want to be closer to the main tourist attractions you should stay at the bay area. The staff was friendly but I felt like they weren't as helpful as others, especially in terms of information on transport. The only thing they know is grab (used all over asia so nothing new). No info on public transport (luckily I stayed in a hostel before so I somewhat knew). One time we were in a hurry and asked them to call a taxi since there weren't any grab cars around. They told us to wait a moment but we ended up waiting for half an hour and were then told that the driver had cancled. We noticed they were just using grab again and didn't call a company as asked to do by us. Not the kind of service I expect for the price we paid.

„Perfekter Zwischenstop

Waren hier nur eine Nacht, weil wir am nächsten Tag weitergereist sind. Für eine Nacht ist das Hotel top! Vom Flughafen haben wir ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Taxi gebraucht. Vom Hotel aus sind Bars und Restaurants fußläufig zu erreichen. Auf der Dachterrasse kann man morgens wunderbar seinen ersten Kaffee trinken. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber.

War super gelegen. Unweit von Makati - dem Entertainment Viertel. Es war sehr sauber und gemütlich ausgestattet. Klimaanlage funktionierte prima und das Bett sehr bequem.

Hmm...eigentlich gar nichts ausser, dass das Personal am Empfang etwas genervt wirkte.

„Sehr gutes günstiges Hotel etwas abseits

Hotel liegt in einer Seitenstrasse im Wohngebiet und es ist ruhig. Zimmer ist Nichtraucher aber am Balkon darf geraucht werden. Hotel ist bewacht von Security. Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktioniert sehr gut. Zimmertüre wird mit normalem Schlüssel verschlossen und Strom wird beim verlassen des Zimmer nicht abgeschaltet. Betten sind sehr komfortabel und bequem. Ca. 200 Meter weit entfernt ist ein Buddy's Restaurant mit günstigem und gutem essen.

Lage des Hotels ist ein bisschen Abseits und würde mich als Frau nicht so sicher fühlen. Zur belebten Gegend ist es ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß bei schlecht beleuchteten Straßen.

„Schöne Unterkunft in super Lage mit hervorragendem Service

Die Betten waren sehr bequem, weit über dem sonstigen philippinischen Standard, das Personal ist extrem hilfsbereit und kulant. Ich konnte wegen der Baustelle das Zimmer wechseln in eine höhere Kategorie ohne Aufpreis, einem werden immer sofort die Türen aufgehalten und das Gepäck abgenommen. Flughafenshuttle konnte pünktlich arrangiert werden, bei sonstigen Anfragen (Safe verschlossen) war auch innerhalb von zwei Minuten jemand auf dem Zimmer, um ihn zu öffnen. Sehr freundlicher Umgang mit den Gästen, es gab absolut nichts am Verhalten des Personals auszusetzen, das ist sehr selten! Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

„Modernes Hotel wo man es nicht erwartet

Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere moderne Zimmer und im philippinischen Vergleich überdurchschnittlich gute Sanitäranlagen.

Das Hotel ist nicht ganz einfach zu finden. Die Gegend macht in der Dunkelheit einen zwielichtigen Eindruck, der sich aber relativiert wenn man sich dort aufhält.

„Gute Lage, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Lage des Hotels. Personal besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit. Managerin des Hotels hat ein sehr günstiges Taxi zum Flughafen bestellt (320,- Peso), alle vier Personen und alle vier Koffer passten ins Taxi. Flughafentaxi zum Hotel kostete 440,- Peso. Die aufgeführten Mängel im Zimmer wurden an den Eigentümer weitergeleitet und das verlangte Gespräch mit dem Eigentümer hat die Mangerin organisiert. Wegen der Mängel im Zimmer war der Eigentümer mit einem Rabatt einverstanden. Normalerweise war check out um 12 Uhr wir konnten das Zimmer bis 16 Uhr benutzen :-) miut unserem Kind und unserem Senior mit 86 Jahren super guter Service. Matratzen waren sehr hochwertig, zum ersten Mal sah ich einen Matratzenschoner unter dem Leintuch, Laken war nicht direkt auf der Matratze :-). Klimaanlage war leise und geruchsfrei (kein Schimmelgeruch, keine Bakterienschleuder), das bedeutet gut Wartung.

Das Frühstück war im Preis enthalten, jeden Tag Reis mit Ei oder Weißbrot, für mich jedoch auf der Philippinenreise kein Problem, das Kind mit 3 Jahren war im Übernachtungspreis enthalten, jedoch für das Frühstück sollten wir für das Kind zum ersten Mal auf den Philippinen extra bezahlen :-(. Im persönlichen Gespräch mit dem Eigentümer wurde auf die zusätzliche Berechnung für das Frühstück des 3-jährigen verzichtet. Das Hotel ist erst zwei Jahre alt. Es gab jedoch schon einige Mängel im Zimmer die auch nach dem Zimmertausch im 2. Familienzimmer vorhanden waren, der Eigentümer war jedoch im persönlichen Gespräch mit einem Rabatt einverstanden, das hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Deshalb würde ich das Hotel bei der nächsten Reise wieder wählen.

Das Zimmer war sauber. Ein Handtuch war in die Jahre gekommen und grau statt weiß. Für das Gebuchte Frühstück misten wir zusätzlich zahlen.
